Narrowboaters know how to mark the Queen's 60th anniversary on the throne!

John A Ross delighted many with his splendidly adorned and recently converted mirror sailing dinghy. He originally built the boat in the early 60's having purchased it as a flat packed item for £105.


The weather was not brilliant, but there was no shortage of supporters in boats ranging from the dedicated royalists (like John above) to charitable organisations including The Electric barge and Party boat operators pictured here- all the way down to the Paddington basin.
