Canalside Events Cosgrove Canal Festival, Craft Fair & Village festival-22nd-23rd July Starting from 10am-4pm raising money for restoration of canal between Buckingham and Cosgrove.

Newbury Waterways Festival- 23rd July from 10am-5pm at Victoria Park, Newbury Berkshire as part of Kennet & Avon Canal Trust-The main theme of the festival will be Beatlemania with some live acoustic numbers from one of Britain’s famous pop groups. Click here for more information.

Blisworth Canal Festival 12th-13th August from 11am-5pm. A spectacular sight of different boats on the canal running through 8 Norfolk villages.
Gardenia (Above) waits for her turn to proceed through the lengthy Maida tunnel (unlit)then goes under the A1 and re-emerging in urban surroundings of the Regents canal. The service goes regularly from Camden Town to Little Venice through the tunnel through Regents Park and London Zoo.
The UK distributors of this Korean built canoe (with an option for a dingy too) assure us it can quickly unfolded (within less than 15 minutes) for use on the canals .The hull Double-layer marine-grade custom manufactured polypropylene so coastal visits are an option. At the end of the voyage the canoe or dinghy can be quickly repacked into 2 carrier bags and transported back to the car. It weighs just 53lbs.
